Rather late in the fall we learned of an opportunity to attend the Baby and Child Bonanza in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Extra super added bonus of the event?  Dr. William Sears was going to be speaking there!  Even more extra super goodness?  There's an EM member there we could meet up with!  Hooray!

I packed up the van and got the kids settled in and we drove down to Vegas.  We stopped at the airport to pick up Chanda, one of the MB officers and a way good friend, who was flying in from Houston to attend the event.  She's been helping behind the scenes for a goodly while but had never yet actually seen the booth in action.  And by coming to this event she got to share in the extra super bonus goodies

In case you didn't know it, it's hot in Vegas, even in October.  Bright and sunny.  Chanda watched the kids and helped set up the booth.  It was a smallish event that took place both indoors and outside of the St. Rose hospital.  MB doesn't (yet) have permission to sell into Nevada, so we were there strictly as a service and informational booth.  We had a number of moms stop in to use the booth, and we got to chat with a couple Lactation Consultants, too.

And Chanda got to see the booth, listen to Dr. Sears' talk and get his autograph on a copy of one of his books (I did too!), and visit me
